Explore advancements in Earth and space science over the last 100 years
The last century of discoveries in Earth and space science serve as an inspiration for those who seek to answer the challenges of tomorrow. Looking to the future, science can help society address the challenges it faces and take advantage of the opportunities that arise.
AGU's new public exhibit will allow visitors to learn who Earth and space scientists are and what they do through a display of artifacts and a series of digital interactives.
Leading the way for net zero energy design
AGU’s building is the first net zero energy commercial renovation in Washington, D.C. Our commitment since the beginning has been to identify and share best practices for commercial buildings that want to reduce their carbon and environmental footprint. We plan to track our building's systems' metrics and make the data and experiences open and available to researchers, academia, builders, engineers, architects, and others in the near future.
In the meantime, let us take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of our net zero energy technology. We are now accepting on-site tour requests.Request a Tour
