Explore advancements in Earth and space science over the last 100 years
The last century of discoveries in Earth and space science serve as an inspiration for those who seek to answer the challenges of tomorrow. Looking to the future, science can help society address the challenges, and take advantage of the opportunities, it faces.
Coming in 2019, AGU's new public exhibit will allow visitors to learn who Earth and space scientists are and what they do through a display of artifacts and a series of digital interactives.
Leading the way for net zero energy design
AGU is striving to become the first-ever net zero energy renovation of an existing building in Washington, D.C. Our commitment since Day 1 is to identify and share best practices for commercial buildings that want to reduce their carbon and environmental footprint. We plan to track the building's systems' metrics and make the data and experiences open and available to researchers, academia, builders, engineers, architects, and more in the near future.
In the meantime, let us take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of our net zero energy technology. We are now accepting onsite tour requests for 2019.
