Construction Update – Overnight Sewer Inspection Dec. 12

By December 8, 2017 No Comments

On Tuesday, December 12, neighbors will notice some overnight constructions lights and noise at the corner of Florida Avenue and 20th Street and along Florida Avenue at the AGU site.

DC Water will be conducting an inspection of the sewer line beneath Florida Avenue. The sewer is the main aspect of the municipal sewer heat exchange system, a key design feature in the pursuit of net zero goals. Set up of inspection cameras and necessary equipment may result in a slightly higher level of overnight noise, though most of the work will be beneath Florida Avenue.

The work is expected to begin at or around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12 and may last for a couple of hours.
